PCA Personal Care Assistants—Multiple Shifts Available

  • Full Time DAYS Personal Care Aide shift 6:30am-2:30pm
  • Part Time DAYS Personal Care Aide shift 6:30am-2:30pm
  • Part Time 2nd SHIFT Personal Care Aide shift 2:30pm-10:30am
  • Full Time 3rd SHIFT Personal Care Aide shift 10:30pm- 6:30am
  • Part Time 3rd SHIFT Personal Care Aide shift 10:30pm- 6:30am

An individual who has completed personal care training and is competent to perform assigned functions of personal care to the resident.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have completed personal care training program and competency.
  • Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly diagnosed with dementia.
  • Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
  • Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
  • Timely and accurate completion of: Care tracker
  • Adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) privacy policies and procedures. Maintain confidentially.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:
  • Ability to participate in physical activity.
  • Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
  • Heavy lifting.
  • Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with personal hygiene, including shower, tub or bed baths, oral care, hair and skin care.
  • Assist in the use of toilet facilities, including briefs and pull ups
  • Assist in and out of bed, excluding the use of mechanical lifting equipment unless trained and documented as competent.
  • Assist with walking, including the use of walkers and wheelchairs, when applicable.
  • Meal preparation and feeding, when required.
  • Assist with prescribed exercises that have been instructed by the appropriate health professional.
  • Record and report changes in the physical condition, behavior or appearance to supervisor.
  • Documenting services delivered in accordance with policies and procedures.

 

Housekeeper—Part-Time

We are currently seeking a full-time employee to assist with keeping our grounds in beautiful condition, doing maintenance, and housekeeping work.

  • 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Relevant experience desired
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must have a High School diploma, valid drivers license and social security card
  • Must pass criminal background check
